These Terms of Business (“Terms”) govern your use of the products and services provided by Dispex Ltd (“Dispex”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 4203677), whose registered office is 48 King Street, King’s Lynn, PE30 1HE, United Kingdom. By using our website (the “Site”) or purchasing any products or services from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Interpretation and Scope
1.1 These Terms apply to all services, training courses, memberships, products (including paper and electronic CD registers), publications (including the Dispex Gazette), consultancy, profitability tools, webinars, and any other offerings provided by Dispex (collectively, the “Services”).
1.2 By registering for, purchasing or accessing any Service, you confirm that you accept and agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Our Services are intended only for healthcare professionals, specifically those involved in NHS dispensing practices in the United Kingdom.
2.2 You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into contracts.
3. Membership
3.1 Membership provides access to exclusive Services, pricing tools, and content (“Member Benefits”).
3.2 Membership fees (monthly or annual) are payable in advance and non-refundable once the relevant period has begun.
3.3 Membership remains active only while fees are paid and current. We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment or breach of these Terms. For full membership terms & conditions, please click here.
4. Ordering and Acceptance
4.1 Orders for Services (including training, publications, or products) can be placed via the Site, by email, or by telephone.
4.2 All orders are subject to acceptance by Dispex, and a contract is only formed when we confirm acceptance.
5. Prices and Payment
5.1 Prices for Services are as quoted on the Site or in our promotional material at the time of the order.
5.2 Dispex may revise prices at any time, but changes will apply only to orders placed after the change.
5.3 Payments must be made by the methods we accept (products and services; bank transfer only. Membership; direct debit or bank transfer), and clear funds must be received before Services commence. 6. Delivery of Services
6.1 Training, webinars, and online events will be delivered at the date and time specified at booking. Unless the session is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control.
6.2 Physical products will be delivered to the address you provide and are subject to availability and delivery charges where stated.
7. Access and Use of Tools and Digital Services
7.1 Digital Services (e.g., profitability tools, electronic CD registers, membership content) are accessed via login credentials.
7.2 You agree to keep login credentials secure and not share them outside your dispensing practice.
7.3 Dispex reserves the right to suspend access if credentials are misused or if there is suspected breach of security.
8. Cancellation, Refunds, and Transfers
8.1 Cancellation policies vary by Service:
Training courses and events: cancellations made with fewer than 14 days’ notice may not be refunded. Our full training terms & conditions, can be found here.
Memberships: Cancellation of subscriptions requires a 3-month notice period and you will continue to be charged for the 3 months following your cancellation notice to Dispex. Members who cancel their subscription and who pay by annual Direct Debit will be reimbursed the remaining subscription minus 3 months’ worth of subscriptions and a £35 plus VAT administration fee. If you cancel your Direct Debit with your own bank during the 12-month membership, you will be liable for 3 months subscriptions as well as a Dispex administration fee of £35 plus VAT. Products: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the details of the order, delivery address, product and codes are complete and accurate when ordering. It is the customer’s responsibility to check the product(s) ordered are correct upon delivery. In the event that any order is incorrect, you must notify us within seven working days after delivery to rectify the problem. If the customer has ordered the incorrect product we shall, at our discretion, either re-deliver the correct product or refund the cost of the product including delivery, less an administration charge.

9. Intellectual Property
9.1 All content provided by Dispex (including publications, tools, templates, emails and instructional material) is our intellectual property or used with licence.
9.2 You may use such material only for your internal professional purposes; you may not redistribute, resell, or share externally.
10. Liability and Disclaimers
10.1 Dispex provides information and training based on current best practice relevant to NHS dispensing. We do not guarantee any particular outcome or financial benefit.
10.2 Discount data and pricing is taking from the DM&D Browser and Lexon as well as the mainline wholesaler discounts that we have been able to verify. Dispex assumes no responsibility or liability for any errors or omissions in the content of this site. The information contained in this site is provided on an “as is” basis with no guarantees of completeness, accuracy, usefulness or timeliness.
10.3 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dispex’s total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the applicable Service.
10.4 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
11. Data Protection and Privacy
11.1 We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
11.2 By using our Services you consent to such processing.
12. Communication and Notices
12.1 We may send you notices by email or via the Site. You agree that notices sent to your last provided email address are effective.
13. Terms Changes
13.1 We may revise these Terms at any time. Revisions take effect when posted on the Site. Continued use of Services after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
14.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
14.2 Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
