Rivaroxaban addition to Category A and M from September 2024
The Department of Health and Social Care has announced upcoming changes to the
reimbursement of rivaroxaban, effective from September.
The addition of the following products into Category A:
- Rivaroxaban 2.5mg tablets
- Rivaroxaban 10mg tablets
The addition of the following products into Category M:
- Rivaroxaban 15mg tablets
- Rivaroxaban 20mg tablets
These additions are being done outside of the usual quarterly timetable. Reimbursement prices will be calculated using information from suppliers obtained under the Health Service Products (Provision and Disclosure of Information) Regulations 2018. Click here for the source.
