Controlled Drugs legislation & classification, policies & SOP’s, how to complete the CD Register, dealing
with the receipt, supply & destruction. How to identify discrepancies, reporting or whistleblowing. CD
storage and travelling with CD’s plus prescription writing requirements.
Controlled Drugs Part 2
What attendees will learn: By the end of this course you will have achieved an understanding of:
Process of ordering, requisition & supplier requirements. The CD Register, patients returns recording &
destruction, plus the correction of errors, ensuring safety & legal requirements.
