Christmas is the season to be grateful and to thank those that have worked so hard within our Dispensing Practices, during another difficult year.
On reflection, it has been a turbulent year, from being hailed as NHS heroes playing a key role on the frontline of the UK’s world-beating Covid vaccine rollout- and rightly so, to the Autumn U-turn, with GPs accused of not seeing patients face-to-face. Skip forward to the present, and the news columns are currently full of devastating reports of crucial staff encountering unwarranted physical and verbal abuse. If you, or your Practice, have been affected by the pressures of the pandemic in any way, then please be aware that there are many resources for healthcare professionals to access, such as:
- NHS GP Health Service
- England and the Health for Health Professionals Wales
- The British Medical Association
However, please remember that the vast majority of the general public do appreciate all your dedication and commitment to serving the community. We, at Dispex, hope you will find the time over this festive season to rest, re-energise and to be with your loved ones.
