Each month over 80 commonly dispensed generics, as priced in the Drug Tariff or DM+D, are priced
at a lower price than the purchase price. When you take the clawback into account, this jumps up to
nearer 140 generics. It is gaming if you purposefully order a higher priced manufacturer’s generic
and change the script to that brand. Do not game the system. If by chance your supplier supplies
you with a higher DM+D priced generic, then you can change the script to that generic and get the
change initialled and be reimbursed for the higher priced generic. It is very important that our tables
are used only when you are supplied blind – that is, you order your products generically and they
supplier supplies whichever generic they have in stock. Members click here to login.
