From April 2026, the National Living Wage for workers aged 21 and over will rise to £12.71,
alongside increases to the National Minimum Wage for younger age groups. Dispensing practices
should start preparing for these changes, following the Low Pay Commission’s recommendations,
which were accepted by Chancellor Rachel Reeves and confirmed in the November 2025 Budget.
